Ben Isgur is a cryptocurrency analyst, journalist, and advocate. He is the author of BestBoardGames.net as well as both TheBlogChain.com, a cryptocurrency news and analysis blog, and Bitcoin in Brief, a <20 page non-technical introduction to the important technological concept of cryptocurrency. Ben is a George Mason University graduate who holds degrees in Philosophy and Government.
Ben’s career began when he experienced success as a trading card and miniatures game player in 2008, which he followed up by winning the World of Warcraft TCG World Cup in 2010. He traveled very often for competition, and ended up visiting most of Europe and the United States as well as parts of Asia over a 5 year period. Ben then moved into a new business selling collectible items on the secondary market with a focus on World of Warcraft Loot Cards.
After leaving that business, Ben started day trading cryptocurrency. In his first few weeks, he experienced stunning success, with returns over 20%. That success and his passion for the Bitcoin technology inspired him to start TheBlogChain.
Ben is a lifelong gamer with a passionate interest in both theory and practice. You can follow him on Twitter @BenIsgur.
